Chateau Copsa – the wine castle in the heart of the Rose Valley

Established by the Minkovi family in 2005, Chateau Copsa is one of the first boutique wineries in Bulgaria. It is located in the village of Moskovets, right in the heart of the Rose Valley, near the town of Sopot.

In 2008, the Chateau Copsa castle opened its doors, built in the spirit of medieval architecture. In its stone foundations lies the wine cellar, where the winery's selections age in French, American, and Bulgarian oak barrels, as well as in bottles.

Chateau Copsa's own vineyards are situated at the foot of the Balkan Mountains, between Karlovo and Sredna Gora – a region renowned for the Rosa Damascena and deeply rooted Thracian wine traditions. The vineyards cultivate Red Misket (Karlovski) – a signature local variety for the winery – as well as Muscat Ottonel, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The wines of Chateau Copsa are presented in several distinctive series, reflecting a variety of styles, philosophies, and terroirs:

Zeyla – aromatic, fresh, and easily recognizable wines;
Music & Arts – artistic blends with emotional charge;
Chateau Copsa – wines from single vineyard plots, embodying the spirit of the region;
Limited Edition – limited bottles with exceptional character. A signature wine of the winery is AXL Chateau Copsa, made from the Red Misket variety – a true reflection of the authentic Bulgarian terroir.

Chateau Copsa offers a complete wine and culinary experience, where architecture, nature, and relaxation intertwine with the taste of wine.

In the La Cave restaurant, located in the heart of the castle, gourmet dinners with selected wines are organized.
The panoramic lounge on the top floor offers a 360-degree view of the vineyards and mountains – ideal for private events or romantic moments.
In the new Zelanos restaurant, in the Maison Copsa building, contemporary design meets the warm coziness of family tradition.

The Chateau Copsa and Maison Copsa hotel complex offers comfortable accommodation – from standard rooms to boutique apartments with vineyard views. Guests can enjoy relaxation by the outdoor pool, spa treatments with rose oil and grape seeds, or participate in organized activities such as:
