Vitus Marinovi Winery - Between the Legend of Belintash and the Power of Mavrud

The Vitus Marinovi Winery is a family boutique venture located at the foot of the Thracian cult temple Belintash, in the heart of the Rhodope collar - in the village of Dolnoslav, near Asenovgrad.
The family behind the project owns over 600 decares of vineyards near the village of Tyurkmen (Brezovo), where they grow Mavrud, Rubin, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot varieties, which produce powerful, hearty red and rosé wines. The white varieties Chardonnay and the local Red Muscat, also known as Brezovo Muscat, are also part of their portfolio, with the winery's style combining classical vinification with touches of modern technology.
The winery is equipped with modern technology suitable for producing small, high-quality batches - small-volume stainless steel vessels, manual grape selection in the vineyard, and immediate post-harvest transportation. Their philosophy is to create wines with strong varietal character, purity, and energy.

Vitus Marinovi offers its guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the authentic atmosphere of the vineyards and winery. Tastings are conducted in the tasting room or outdoors among the vineyards. Visitors can sample wines from different series, learn about the production process, and discover more about the family's philosophy.
The winery's proximity to Belintash and other natural and cultural landmarks in the Rhodopes makes it an excellent destination for a wine journey that can be combined with mountain tourism, cultural walks, and nature retreats. They offer accommodation at the Vitus Marinovi guest house in the picturesque Rhodope village of Boykovo.
